Near the gas giant known as Jupiter, a small green and silver spaceship weaved through a meteor shower, spinning and twisting to dodge the energy blasts of the much larger crimson and orange battleship following it from behind. The battleship fired a powerful laser from one of its many cannons. A direct hit! The smaller ship was thrown sideways from the impact before regaining its path and retaliating with its own lasers, burning two deep holes in the hull. On board the monstrous warship relentlessly pursuing the small transport, a humanoid alien clad in an orange jumpsuit and wearing a metal helmet studied the flashing lights on the computer panel just as another blast shook the ship.
"Hull damage 20%!" The soldier exclaimed, reading the stastic on the computer panel before turning to the captain of the ship. "But the ship and all life support functions are still fully operational!"
The captain of the ship sat in his chair, the top half of his body cloaked in shadow except for his red eyes, which could be seen from a mile away. Despite this, it was easy to make out his slimy green skin, bald head and the row of tentacles that stuck out from his chin like a beard.
"We have come too far to be denied." The captain spoke in a deep, menacing voice. "The Omnitrix shall be captured, and there is not a being in the galaxy who dares stand in our way!"

In a classroom millions of miles away from the space battle, Ben Tennyson was at work.
Benjamin Kirby Tennyson, his middle name being something he hated being called, who was just "Ben" within the student body, was a ten-year-old boy at Bellwood Elementary School. He was skinnier and scrawnier than average, with chocolate brown hair and emerald green eyes. He was clad in his favourite white t-shirt, which had a black collar, black cuffs, and a black stripe running down the centre, his favourite army green cargo pants (green was his favourite colour, after all) and his favourite black and white sneakers, and right now, he was focusing his full attention on the sheet of paper on his desk, folding it repeatedly until at last, his masterpiece was complete. A perfect paper aeroplane. Ignoring the eighteenth rule of the school, "The classroom is not an airport", he looked around to see that no one was watching, and once he was sure that no one was, he, with all his courage, picked up the paper aeroplane and threw it with his might. It whizzed over the other students' heads, flew past the open window, picking up speed…
A direct hit! The paper aeroplane made direct contact with the back of his teacher's head, making her jump. As she turned around, Ben quickly scooped up a book and began pretending to be reading it. Glancing over the book slightly, he saw her turn back to the blackboard and continue writing on it. Ben breathed a sigh of relief and continued looking at the clock. C'mon, just twenty more minutes to go…
This is a rewrite of the very first Ben 10 episode. God, I loved that show as a kid, and I still do.
Anyway, it's basically a written version of the first episode as I would describe it, trying to keep plot changes to a minimum, although there will be a few. I hope you enjoy it and watch to keep reading this rewrite.
